Maximizing the Cherries, Minimizing the Pits.

02:00 PM - 03:00 PM

Jan 21, 2025 2:00:00 PM

🎉 We welcome back guest speaker and aging specialist Channe Fodeman, MSW, LCSW, for a brand new seven-part lecture series! Discover the power of emotional connection as a path to joy.

In this first session, we’ll examine how our beliefs shape our lives, drawing inspiration from Shakespeare's timeless insight: "There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so." Guided by the wisdom of “Tuesdays with Morrie,” we’ll explore strategies for supportive self-talk, acceptance, and the art of letting go 🕊️. Through real-life examples from senior living communities, we’ll delve into the transformative role of self-perception, meaningful activities, affirmations of kindness 💕, and practices like breathwork and mindful movement to cultivate joy and resilience.

Memory Care

Our Ensemble Memory Care program focuses on caring for the whole person – mind, body and spirit – and is specifically designed to engage the senses to create inspiring and meaningful life experiences.

My Mom moved to Allegro about 3 years ago. She lives in the Assisted Living area. She was very satisfied in the beginning, and remains very happy there. There are lots of daily activities available. The food is quite good and the choices are varied. What i find special about Allegro is that all concerns and any problems that may arise are addressed quickly. The staff really treat the residents like family, as it should be!

(8/02/24) My mother is in the AL at Allegro, and loves it. The facility seems more like a hotel than a senior living facility. The staff is so caring, and the happiness and well being of the residents is clearly their first priority. Annette, who assists my mother quite often, is so wonderful! It’s the people that make the place special. (Edit 11/19/24 - Just had to add an edit to note, once again, how marvelous is the staff at Allegro! Particularly Annette, whom my mother relies on so much, and is just SO GOOD at what she does. If you are looking for an IL/AL facility that truly cares about their residents, I urge you to check out Allegro.)

When I ask for anything for my wife, I don't have to ask twice. I feel so comfortable at home knowing my wife is safe at Allegro.

Rebecca and the management staff at Allegro work as a well-oiled machine, a family, and are all genuinely caring individuals. I am very pleased after making a move from a different ALF to Allegro.
