Through Emotional Connection

We welcome back guest speaker and aging specialist Channe Fodeman, MSW, LCSW, for the fifth installment of this year’s six-part lecture series!

"If a man does not make new acquaintance as he advances through life, he will soon find himself left alone. A man, sir, should keep his friendship in constant repair."
— Samuel Johnson, 1755

This discussion will enable us to see each other not just as people, but as individuals with love, anxieties, aspirations, fears, and passions like our own. This in turn allows us to build nurturing friendships. We will explore how to effectively communicate feelings, the art of validation, and navigating conflict with the goal of developing supportive relationships.

Refreshments will be provided. Kindly register for the event using the form below

Pillars of Programming

Harmony Health & Fitness

While fitness contributes to health and well-being at every age, seniors need physical activity more than ever. Harmony Health & Fitness encompasses the latest research and guidelines to offer residents an engaging and social exercise experience.

Harmony Connections: Community Engagement & Connection

Our goal is to ensure our residents remain socially active, connected and engaged. Social offerings will be the focal point of our communities, where residents come together in formal/informal gatherings and events that reflect their experiences and skills, respond to their diverse talents, and encourage involvement in the community and local neighborhood.

Welcome Harmony

is a program designed to help new residents and their family transition smoothly and seamlessly. The program guides lifestyle teams through the residents first 100 hours and first 100 days, laying a foundation that inspires the resident to remain socially active, connected and engaged in their new home.

(8/02/24) My mother is in the AL at Allegro, and loves it. The facility seems more like a hotel than a senior living facility. The staff is so caring, and the happiness and well being of the residents is clearly their first priority. Annette, who assists my mother quite often, is so wonderful! It’s the people that make the place special. (Edit 11/19/24 - Just had to add an edit to note, once again, how marvelous is the staff at Allegro! Particularly Annette, whom my mother relies on so much, and is just SO GOOD at what she does. If you are looking for an IL/AL facility that truly cares about their residents, I urge you to check out Allegro.)

When I ask for anything for my wife, I don't have to ask twice. I feel so comfortable at home knowing my wife is safe at Allegro.
Stan Marcus Resident
Rebecca and the management staff at Allegro work as a well-oiled machine, a family, and are all genuinely caring individuals. I am very pleased after making a move from a different ALF to Allegro.
Suzi Gluck Schiffrin Caregiver
I started attending an Alzheimer Support Group hosted by Allegro. The environment is always beautifully maintained, clean, fresh and inviting. The staff welcomes one with a smile and encouragement. I do not have someone living here, but when I am there residents are doing activities and are smiling. They also have Parkinsons Groups as well. Each occur monthly. They don't just offer the facility for meetings, they are there to listen and learn from caretakers. Rebecca also offers up beverages, fruit and deserts. It is a caring and compassionate feeling I get when I go. Should I need senior living care, I would give them look. I have been told they have not been sited with deficiencies in the past 3 years! Great job!
